Years 1 to 2 with Ms Lily Zee-Verner
Kia ora! Ko Lily Zee-Verner tōku ingoa.
Although I am originally from Wellington, I spent the majority of my life growing up in Melbourne, Australia. In 2022, I returned home to Aotearoa to pursue my studies in education, a journey that happily led me to Linden School, where I have been teaching for the past two years.
I am committed to building an inclusive, nurturing classroom where every student feels safe to flourish. My goal is to tailor my teaching to meet diverse needs, helping every child find their confidence and a genuine love for learning. I want my students to leave my classroom not just as learners, but as compassionate contributors to our community.
When I am not teaching, I love to stay active! You can usually find me playing football, AFL, or Gaelic football, or winding down with a good book.
