Welcome everybody to Linden School.
We want to provide the best possible learning opportunities for all our children, in areas that inspire them to achieve their best. We are an inclusive school following our vision of drive, strive, thrive. This will prepare our students in key areas and with key competencies to fully engage in learning, life and living going forward.
We follow our HEART school values: Helpful, Empathy, Aroha, Respect, Trustworthy. These define who we are as connected citizens in our local community.
Our goals for this year are:- To continue to develop competency in Reading, Writing and Maths- To refine our school curriculum with focus on developing competencies for life- To continue to develop strong relationships within our community- To continue to develop sustainable practices and attitudes
At Linden School we have a number of programmes to support students and provide the best possible learning opportunities in areas that inspire them to do their best. I work alongside an amazing team of teachers and support staff to enable these to happen. Our dedicated Board of Trustees work alongside school staff towards providing opportunities for students to learn in a variety of settings.
We welcome whanau and encourage you to support the school and your child’s learning through a variety of ways- supporting in class, coaching/managing sports teams, attending hui, accompanying students on class trips, supporting fundraising, spreading the good word about our wonderful school etc.
New whanau to our school family are always welcome and we encourage them to visit the school and meet the wonderful staff and students.
