Every child has compulsory homework which includes reading and mathematics basic facts practice. As a school we do not insist on formalised homework as research shows that students in primary school benefit mostly from being physically active (especially outside), doing activities with families or by having conversations with others- none of these can be prescribed in homework tasks.
