New Entrants and Year One

New Entrants and Year One in Room 1 with Laura Engel

Welcome to Room One, (still the best class ever:))

We begin each day joining the rest of the school to sing our school waiata and to share important whole school notices. We continue singing in class with our Hello song and a song about the Days of the Week. We use English, Māori and New Zealand Sign Language throughout the day as we learn through our HEART (Helpful, Empathy, Aroha, Respect, Trustworthy) values and concepts focused curriculum. We welcome visitors to our class to learn with us.

He aha te mea nui o te ao. He tāngata, he tāngata, he tāngata

What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people.
