Gardening Club

Students who participate in Gardening Club maintain the school garden beds. They have their own vegetable patches in which they have grown a variety of flowers, plants, herbs and vegetables.

Once ripe and ready, garden club harvest their produce and create delightful dishes - that the staff often have the privilege of tasting! Some of the wonderful treats they have made include fresh salads, homemade soups, and healthy topped burgers.

They have followed some processes from start to finish. For example growing and harvesting wheat; milling the wheat to flour and using the flour to make pancakes.

Sometimes, you can even help gardening club fundraise for events and charities by purchasing a packet of seeds or buying some of their freshly picked herbs and vegetables.
